There's a real difference between a driveway that's been rinsed off and one that's been properly cleaned. This one had built-up grime, old paint remnants, and dark staining spread across the entire surface - the kind of stuff that doesn't budge with a garden hose.

Here's what we were working with: heavy discoloration across both sides of the driveway, stubborn paint spots sitting right in the middle of the concrete, and dark moisture stains spreading toward the edges. The whole surface had that dull, dingy look that just makes an otherwise nice home feel worn down.

We ran a full pressure wash across the driveway and walkway - every panel, edge to edge. The concrete texture came back, the paint lifted, and the staining broke up nicely. What you end up with is concrete that actually looks like concrete again, not a surface that's been neglected for years.

The walkway leading to the front door got the same treatment. That side-entry path collects a lot of dirt and algae growth along the edges, and it's easy to overlook. We cleaned it right along with the rest so the whole front of the house looks consistent - not just the part you see from the street.

Good driveway cleaning isn't just about looks. Built-up grime and organic growth can actually break down concrete over time. Getting it cleaned properly keeps the surface in better shape longer, which is worth thinking about if your concrete is starting to look like this one did before we got to it.
